Simulation of our Deformable Hollow Arm
The Hollow
Our first robot is a deformable hollow arm, allowing materials such as paint, air, water, glue, etc., to be conveyed inside the robot, protected and hidden.
The robot can also be equipped of an Object Transfer System (OTS) to convey objects along its structure, avoiding fast and dangerous (for collaboration with humans) displacements, and the big accelerations, from point A to point B, of classic robotic arms. The objects are efficiently conveyed at high rate inside the robot, avoiding the compromise between security and speed.

Design, Modelling, and Control of Deformable Robots
Since 2013, thanks to our research within the team DEFROST at Inria, we have proposed major breakthroughs on soft robotics’ biggest challenges : their modeling, simulation, and control.
We’ve developed a suite of unified tools and methods that are based on digital twins. These tools help for the conception of the robots, from their design, to the control of their motion. This technology enables Compliance Robotics to let you imagine and validate your own robot arm, thanks to a configurable design, so that the robot fits your applications, needs, and constraints.
Our Vision
We develop a new generation of robots for the industry. Based on the innovative principles of soft robotics, our solutions, easy to set up, versatile, and energy efficient, will make it possible to help sectors that have difficulty to robotize such as in the food industry, and to promote more sustainable industrial robotics.
